Short-term storage
Short-term storage. Store this Tuesday, deliver back in three weeks.
Between closings, mid-renovation, or just a few weeks of overflow. Month-to-month, no contract, climate-controlled — and one quote covers move-out, storage, and re-delivery. When your closing slips, your rate doesn't.

Closings slip. Our rates don't.
Month-to-month · climate-controlled · pickup and re-delivery included
What's in every short-term storage account
Storage built around how real closings actually work.
Month-to-month billing
No 6-month minimum, no 12-month lock-in, no early-termination fee. Need it for 23 days? You pay for one month. Need it for 4 months? Stay 4 months and call us when you're ready.
Same climate-controlled facility
Short-term doesn't mean lower-tier. Your stuff sits in the same 70-75°F, normal indoor humidity 200,000 sq ft facility as the long-term inventory. No 'temporary annex.'
Pickup at your old place
Closing Tuesday, new place won't be ready for three weeks? We load Monday, you hand the keys over Tuesday, your stuff is safe until the new closing.
Door-to-door re-delivery
Text us the new-closing date. Same crew loads the unit, drives to the new address, unloads to the room. No second truck rental, no second lift.
Right-sized unit
Short stays are usually a partial household. We don't put you in a 'next-size-up' unit just to fill empty space — pay for the cubic feet you actually used.
One invoice for the whole flow
Move-out, store, move-in — billed as one continuous job, not three separate vendors. One quote at the start, one final at the end.
Why Austin chooses Heavenly
Rent a self-storage unit for 'one month' that ends up being four because closing got pushed twice. Each month is a separate U-Haul day.
One pickup, store as long as the closing slips, one delivery to the new address. Closing-date slip costs you a monthly rate — not another truck rental.
Lift it into the unit. Lift it out of the unit. Lift it into the new place. Three lifts for one move.
Lift zero times. We load at the old place, we unload at the new place. The middle happens inside a warehouse you never visit.
Long-term contract for a short-term problem. Cancel early, pay the early-termination fee.
Month-to-month. Out in 30 days? You pay for 30. Stay 90? Pay for 90. Done.
How short-term storage runs
01
Quote with timing
Tell us closing dates (firm or soft). We quote the move-out, the monthly storage, and an estimated re-delivery — locked rates, no closing-slip surprises.
02
Pickup day
Crew loads the truck on your closing day. Pad-wrap, inventory, photos. You hand over keys and drive away — your stuff is on our truck, not in your problem column.
03
Store as long as it takes
Climate-controlled, secured, billed monthly. 70-75°F everywhere stuff is stored. Closing slips? Reno runs long? Just text us the new date. No re-quote, no re-contract.
04
Re-delivery
Text the new address and date. Same crew, same truck, straight from our facility to your new front door. Unload to the room, not the driveway.
“Our old house closed July 8th, the new house closed August 4th — except the new closing slipped twice and we didn't get keys until September 2nd. Heavenly stored everything climate-controlled for eight weeks instead of three, billed me month-to-month, and dropped it all at the new place the day we got keys. Zero stress, zero re-quote drama.”

Move-out, store, move-in — one quote, locked rate, month-to-month after that. Closing-date slip costs you a month, not a re-negotiation.
Quick questions
Straight answers — no runaround.
What counts as 'short-term'?+
Anything under 6 months, but we don't actually run a separate rate. Stay 2 weeks (billed as 1 month) or 5 months — same monthly per-unit-size rate, no minimum-stay contract.
What if my closing slips and I need an extra month?+
Text us. We rebill the next month and keep the same rate. No re-quote, no re-contract, no penalty. Closing-date slips are why short-term storage exists.
Can I get partial items back during the stay?+
Yes — on-demand re-delivery for a single item is 48–72 hours. Customers do this all the time when the new place isn't ready but they need a specific desk or bed back early.
How is short-term billed?+
One quote covers the move-out day and the per-unit-size monthly rate. Each month bills automatically until you schedule re-delivery. Final invoice covers the re-delivery move.
Is short-term storage cheaper than long-term?+
Same per-unit-size monthly rate either way. The savings on short-term come from no contract, no early-termination fee, and one combined move-out / store / move-in quote — not from a discounted unit rate.
What's the shortest stay you'll do?+
One month minimum. If you only need 8 days of storage between closings, you're still better off paying for one month here than paying for two U-Haul rentals and two days of lifting.
What about an in-between scenario — staging, then back to the same address?+
Yep, we do that too. Common with home sales: we pull the clutter for staging, store it, deliver it back after closing. Same quote structure.
