“the quote on Monday was the bill on Saturday” — . No surprise fees, no fuel surcharge, no stair charge. They told me the number and they stuck to it.
Travis County
Lakeway moves themselves are rarely the hard part — the access is. Lakefront homes off the Resort area sometimes only have rear-deck access from the boat dock side; estates in Rough Hollow and Flintrock Falls sit behind a POA-card gate that doesn't open for a truck without paperwork; and the downhill driveways off 620 can be too steep for a loaded 26-footer to back up. We pre-walk approach photos for every Lakeway move and pre-clear gate codes with the POA office the week before.
We don't just know Lakeway — we know your block.
Lakeway Resort area movers work the lakefront homes off Lakeway Drive and Hurst Creek weekly. Some lots are rear-deck-only from the dock side — we pre-walk from photos and bring a smaller box truck plus a deck-stair dolly setup.
Rough Hollow movers handle this gated hill-country master-plan above the lake. Card-access gate, COI on file with the POA office a week before, and steep section roads where the truck stages on the flat and we shuttle uphill.
Flintrock Falls movers cover this gated golf-course community off 620. Guard-gate paperwork pre-filed, narrow back-of-section streets, and several driveways that don't take a loaded 26-footer in reverse.
Lakeway POA movers run the original Lakeway estates off Lohmans Crossing. Mature lots, longer driveways, and a POA office that wants the moving-company name and truck plate on file before the day.
The Hollows movers handle this hill-country lakefront community on the north shore. Long entry roads, gate-cleared access, and morning starts non-negotiable — 620 north of Bee Cave stacks up after 3 p.m.
Serene Hills movers cover this newer Lakeway master-plan off 620. Hill-country grade with master-planned-community discipline — wide streets and gentle approaches the older sections don't always offer.

Straight answers — no runaround.
Most Lakeway 3–4 bedroom moves run 7–10 billable hours with a 3- or 4-mover crew. Lakefront dock-access addresses and Rough Hollow gate-clear approaches add 1–2 hours we quote up front, not after. Hourly rate locks at booking — get your locked number in the 60-second quote.
Yes. Several lakefront Lakeway homes are dock-access only. We pre-walk the approach from photos and bring a smaller box truck plus a dolly setup that handles deck stairs. It gets quoted up front, not as a surprise.
71 west of MoPac and 620 north of Bee Cave both stack up after 3 p.m. A move that takes 5 hours starting at 8 a.m. can run 7 starting at 1 p.m. — and you pay the difference. We push hard for morning slots on Lakeway.
What's actually different about moving in Lakeway — and how we handle it.
Some lakefront homes off Hurst Creek or Lakeway Drive only have rear-deck access from the dock side. We figure that out from photos before move day — not by showing up and realizing the front door is decorative.
Lakeway POA and Rough Hollow both require the moving company on a card-access list before the truck rolls in. We file that paperwork the week before. You don't argue with a gate guard on move day.
We don't book Lakeway moves in the afternoon. 71 west of MoPac slows to a crawl after 3 p.m. and 620 between Bee Cave and Lakeway adds another 30 minutes at rush. Morning starts keep the billable hours honest.
Same crew, same locked rate — just a different zip.
