Movers in West Campus

West Campus is the UT student-housing corridor between Guadalupe and Lamar, north of MLK — high-rise apartments, fraternity and sorority houses, and a parking situation that gets worse every year. Most of our West Campus work is UT students moving in for August semester or moving out in May, and the week is its own logistics problem: every building loads at once, the freight elevators are double-booked, 24th and 22nd Streets are jammed with U-Hauls, and parking on Nueces is impossible without a permit. We book West Campus students four-plus weeks out and we hold loading windows at the freight side, not the front door.

Neighborhoods we move in West Campus

We don't just know West Campus — we know your block.

West 24th corridor

West 24th corridor movers work the high-rise student-housing towers off Rio Grande weekly. Concierge-managed move scheduling, COI day-before, and 2-hour loading-dock windows we hit on the dot.

Pearl Street

Pearl Street movers know the mid-rise apartment stock between 21st and 26th. Smaller freight elevators on the older buildings, COI requirements that vary by complex, and we read the rules sheet before quoting.

Nueces / San Antonio

Nueces and San Antonio Street movers handle the duplex and small apartment stock near campus. No-parking permits filed two days out, narrow streets, and the end-of-semester schedule we book two months out.

Dobie / Castilian

Dobie and Castilian movers cover the high-rise dorm-adjacent towers. Concierge dock coordination, badge-only crew access, and we hand a printed crew list at check-in the morning of the move.

Hyde Park edge

Hyde Park-edge movers know the West Campus blocks bordering 29th. Older bungalows converted to student housing, narrow streets, and street-parking we clear with the city office.

West Campus moving questions

Straight answers — no runaround.

What does a West Campus move cost?+

Most West Campus studio and 1-bedroom moves run 3–5 billable hours with a 2-mover crew. Larger 2–3 bedroom shared apartments run 5–7 hours with a 3-mover crew, especially during August turnover when freight-elevator slots get tight. Hourly rate locks at booking — get your locked number in the 60-second quote.

When should I book a UT move-in?+

Four weeks ahead of the date, minimum. The week before fall semester is the single busiest week in West Campus and the calendar fills early. Six weeks out is better.

Do you reserve the freight elevator at my building?+

Yes. Tell us your building at booking and we make the freight reservation in the same call. Most West Campus high-rises only release freight windows 7–14 days ahead.

Why West Campus households pick Heavenly

What's actually different about moving in West Campus — and how we handle it.

UT semester-week pre-booking

The week before fall semester and the week after spring finals are the two busiest weeks of the year in West Campus. We open the calendar four weeks out and book student moves first-come. Last-minute books pay premium for whatever's left.

High-rise freight-elevator reservations

Most West Campus high-rises (The Block, 26 West, the Quad) have one freight elevator and a 2-hour reservation block. We reserve at booking, we load fast, we don't go over. Other movers stuck in the lobby is not your problem.

24th Street parking permits

24th and Nueces are no-parking without a City of Austin permit during semester turnover. We pull the permit a week ahead and stake the curb. No 'we can't unload' moment when you get there.
